Dimensions for checked baggage are calculated by adding together the width, height and depth of the piece of baggage.

KLM allows 1 free piece of luggage with the same size and weight restrictions.

From the Rest of the World: For Air India flights originating outside of North America, the free baggage allowance is usually 1 piece not exceeding 20 kilograms (44 pounds). Additional baggage can be purchased at the airport in India for 600 Rupees per kilogram.
